Medication Management
An initial, comprehensive diagnostic evaluation includes review of your complete medical, psychiatric, family and social history in order to conceptualize an individualized treatment plan incorporating your personal goals for wellness. Additional recommendations may include obtaining laboratory bloodwork, diagnostic testing or imaging studies. Medications may be initiated, adjusted or maintained based upon your individual experience and response. Routine follow-up medication management visits include close monitoring of symptoms and side effects, making adjustments or augmentations as needed as we work towards reaching your wellness goal. Maintenance medication management visits are established when we are no longer making adjustments to your medication regimen and are visits can become less frequent. Dr. White's general treatment philosophy regarding psychotropic medications is to alleviate symptoms utilizing the lowest, therapeutic dose that improves an individual's overall level of daily functioning.

Psychotherapy
Dr. White offers individual psychotherapy sessions with, and without medication management. She is trained in several modalities including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), insight-oriented/solution-focused and interpersonal therapy. Dr. White strongly believes that therapy is essential to improve an individual's mental health. She collaborates closely with outside therapists, to whom she may refer patients to for more specialized therapy services or connecting regularly with your established therapist.

Professional Consultation
As the demand for mental health care continues to sharply rise while the availability and accessibility of Psychiatrists remains challenging, the advent and projected permanence of TeleHealth has lowered barriers to treatment. Dr. White offers professional consultation to healthcare providers that see patients in need of psychiatric assessment. Consultation can be done on a weekly or monthly basis via TeleHealth case review or as the need arises. Dr. White provides recommendations and guidance for psychopharmacological interventions for non-psychiatric healthcare providers to offer to their established patients.
